Marking
Internal marking is carried out to the same standard as external exams. This is a significant jump from GCSE, but a great deal of guidance is given both before and after the submission of work in order to ease the transition. Girls are also provided with a grading sheet indicating the criteria for each grade (for AS click here, A2 click here). Each formal essay is returned accompanied by a feedback sheet indicating the strengths of the piece of work and where it might be improved (for AS click here, A2 click here).
