Goals
Short term
- To expand the department in terms
of numbers studying A Level
- To increase the contribution of
the subject to Key Skills
- To increase the resources of the
department in terms of library provision, internet-based resources, realia
and visits
- To increase awareness of psychology
and psychological issues to staff and girls in general
- To enable those who wish to study
psychology at university to be as well-prepared as possible
Long term
- To extend skills in critical evaluation
of explicit and implicit psychological theories further down the school. Depending
on future school policy, to introduce psychology as a GCSE subject at the
school
Contents
