External examination specifications
The AQA specifications (AS5181/A6181) are widely considered to provide the best introduction to the subject for those wishing to pursue psychology further. They do not require candidates to have prior experience of the subject at GCSE. However, girls must have at least a C in GCSE Maths and English to take the course.
