If you're nice to Miss Last, she might do the film analysis with you that I did with LV last year (ask them about it — they really enjoyed it). If you can persuade her, she needs to get hold of a copy of a DVD called Cinema 16 (the one with British films on it) from the BFI, and after running through the nine overheads below she should show you the first film on the DVD, "About a Girl" and get you to analyse it in terms of what you've learnt from the overheads.
